Detailed Headcanon Ideas
Now a bit of background on myself and how I got involved with all of this. Like many I was left distraught and hopeless at the April 2014 announcement of the decanonization of the EU, and could find no place on the internet with anyone who loved and respected what we had lost. Seemingly everywhere were people spouting ridiculous claims about the EU that I knew were not true but had trouble arguing against since at the time I simply did not know what I know now. In the spectrum of superheroes that ranges between “cosplayers that like to punch things” to “cosmic entity that barely acknowledges humanity exists” my preferences are far closer to cosplayers, so I do know where you’re coming from.
If enough people get the message and accept the message, then it becomes part of the religious tradition. UPG is Unverified Personal Gnosis – information and wisdom that comes to individuals through means that can’t be objectively confirmed. It’s things you learn in dreams, in trance, or through divination. It isn’t something you made up or something you think is true.
Plus Harry and the Potters continue to make great music, so I don’t think I’ll ever stop listening to them. Ok fine, maybe you are never going to get into these kinds of debates. In fact, I would bet that describes the majority of those who are reading this. Honestly, a majority of the people who say these things haven’t researched the topic themselves. They have just heard the talking points somewhere and accepted them as truth. Many won’t come out and say these things to you directly, but will instead keep it to themselves, or maybe they don’t know anything about how the EU worked at all.
Whether you’re crafting a fantasy epic, a sci-fi adventure, or a contemporary drama, these generators can cater to your needs. They can adjust to various settings, producing characters that fit seamlessly into any world. This adaptability makes them an invaluable resource for generated headcanons creators working across multiple genres, providing endless possibilities and preventing creative stagnation. I was a kid, and I haven’t re-read these comics in a while; I’m not saying Rumiko Fujikawa is the best-drawn character in Iron Man history or anything like that.
Where is my spiritual experience different from my experience withfandom? ” After a time I realized those weren’t the exact right questionsto be asking, as there probably needed to be more distance there for properanalysis. But at the same time, my own connection to religion and fandompotentially important to inform some of the directions I took this post, whichis why I added this section here. What I am getting at here is that there is no functional difference between UPG/ SPG and headcanon generator/ fanon; it is only because people perceive fandom and religion as distinct entities that they are not allowed to fully coexist. My perception is that this is because people may think that comparing religion to fandom delegitimizes religious practice, but that strikes me as nonsense and I don’t at all agree.
Check out the video recap, and join our series ongoing exploring the evolution of storytelling in an age of invention. Words We’re Watching talks about words we are increasingly seeing in use but that have not yet met our criteria for entry.
Mom Mao did not follow this principle out of her genuine love for Shin, but to avoid being ostracised from or judged by the clan, Shin never let anyone know what he looked like without his armor, which was fine by him since he hated being small. They have three kids and this headcanon totally has nothing to do with those extra panels in the last book. • Armin never liked his bangs, hence why he doesn’t have them in season 4. I’ve made this into a headcanon because everyone else’s hair was just a shorter or longer version of their original hairstyle, whereas Armin’s hairstyle changed completely.
I don’t mean that SUPER literally, but I more so mean that they forget certain things have to happen in order for this to function as a video game and, moreover, an MMO. Some games can let you get away with quite a lot. The Secret World, for example, is rated M. It carries many mature themes and images with very heavy implications and sexual themes. While it’s likely many of its players are not actually old enough to be playing it, the general idea is that you should be 17 or older and capable of handling harsh material.
You can completely fill out a character’s backstory, and social life, without ever harming canon in the least. No one can call you on them, and they’re still technically canon. Extended from canon if you will.Even if you break canon you can just declare your character more and more from an alternate timeline or alternate universe entirely. I said something about canon outranking people last paragraph. But even if canon dictates that something else is true, you can still play a character however you please. You simply have to make sure people know this is your version, and that they are from an AU and are not intended to be completely canon.
